How to merge images

  1. Add your imagesChoose 2–20 PNG, JPG or WebP files. Use the list to move an image earlier or later.
  2. Choose a layoutPick Horizontal, Vertical or Grid. Adjust the columns, image sizing and gap.
  3. Save one imageCheck the preview and pixel size. Choose PNG, JPG or WebP, then download.

Choose how the images fit

Horizontal puts images in one row; Vertical puts them in one column. Match widths / heights uses the smallest input height for a row or the smallest input width for a column. It preserves proportions without enlarging the images.

Grid fills from left to right. Match mode uses the smallest input width and height as a uniform cell, fitting each image inside without cropping or enlarging it. Keep original sizes preserves every image’s dimensions and centers it in its space. Gaps and empty areas stay transparent in PNG or WebP; JPG uses the background color.

Merge Images FAQ

Can I merge two images side by side?

Yes. Add two images and choose Horizontal. Keep the gap at 0 px for an edge-to-edge join, or add space between them.

How do I merge images into a grid?

Choose Grid and set the number of columns. Images fill the grid from left to right, then top to bottom. Move images earlier or later in the source list to change the order.

Does image merge crop my photos?

No. Match widths / heights preserves proportions. In Grid, it contains each image inside a shared cell. Keep original sizes leaves each image at its original pixel dimensions.

Can I keep a transparent background?

Yes. Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency in the source images and empty areas. JPG fills transparent areas with your chosen background color.

What are the file and output limits?

Use 2–20 images, up to 25 MB per file and 16,000 px per side. Decoded inputs can total up to 60 megapixels. Output is limited to 32 megapixels and 16,000 px on its longest side. The tool shows an error if a limit is exceeded; it does not silently shrink your result.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Image decoding, arrangement, preview and export happen locally in your browser. This tool accepts PNG, JPG and WebP; animated image export is not supported.
